uL uLanding Docs

SEO

SEO (Search Engine Optimization) helps your site show up on Google and look good when shared on social media. uLanding gives you SEO controls on pages, services and blog posts.

Tip Good SEO is mostly about clear titles, useful descriptions and fast, well‑structured pages. uLanding handles the technical parts; you provide the words.

Each field explained

Meta title

The clickable headline in Google results and the text in the browser tab. Keep it under ~60 characters and include your main keyword and brand.

Example: Affordable SEO Services in London | Acme Agency

Meta description

The summary under your link in Google. Aim for 120–160 characters, written to make people click.

Example: Boost your rankings with our proven SEO services. Free audit, transparent pricing, real results. Get started today.

OG image (Open Graph)

The preview image shown when your page is shared on Facebook, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, etc. Use a 1200×630px image.

Canonical URL

Tells search engines the "official" address of a page when similar content exists at multiple URLs. Leave blank unless you know you need it.

Robots

Controls whether search engines index the page:

Value Meaning
index, follow Index this page and follow its links (default for public pages).
noindex, follow Don't list this page in Google, but follow its links.
noindex, nofollow Hide from Google entirely.

Tip Use noindex for thank‑you pages, internal pages or duplicates you don't want in search results.

Schema markup (JSON‑LD)

Advanced structured data that can earn "rich results" in Google (e.g. ratings, FAQs). Paste valid JSON‑LD into the page's Schema field. Test it with Google's Rich Results Test.

Favicon

A per‑page browser‑tab icon (rarely needed; the site‑wide favicon in Branding usually suffices).

What uLanding outputs automatically

For every page, uLanding generates the proper tags in the page's <head>:

  • <title> and <meta name="description">
  • <meta name="robots">
  • <link rel="canonical">
  • Open Graph tags: og:title, og:description, og:url, og:type, og:image
  • Your favicon link
  • JSON‑LD schema (if you provided it)

You don't need to write any HTML — just fill the fields.

Sitemap

uLanding does not generate an XML sitemap on its own. To help search engines, you can:

  • Submit your key URLs directly in Google Search Console.
  • Use your host application's sitemap feature if available.
  • Generate a sitemap with an external tool and submit it.

SEO best practices

  1. Unique title & description on every page. Never leave them blank or duplicated.
  2. Put your keyword near the start of the title.
  3. Write for humans first — descriptions that earn clicks beat keyword stuffing.
  4. Use one <h1>/main headline per page (your Hero headline counts).
  5. Add alt text to images (especially logos and feature images).
  6. Keep pages fast — compress images, limit heavy animations (see Best Practices).
  7. Use descriptive slugs (/seo-services not /page-2).
  8. Set an OG image so shares look professional.
  9. Build internal links between related pages and services.
  10. Publish helpful blog content regularly.
