Service Detail Pages
When you enable Detail page on a service, uLanding automatically builds a full, SEO‑friendly page for it at /services/<slug> — no page building required. This chapter explains how those pages work and how to control them.

How it works
- In Services, open a service and go to the Settings tab.
- Turn on Enable detail page.
- Make sure the service has a slug and is Published.
- The service is now reachable at
yoursite.com/services/<slug>, and Service Section cards link to it.
uLanding assembles the page from the fields you filled in (overview, benefits, features, process, etc.) using the detail layout you chose.
The detail layouts
Choose the design in the service's Layout tab:
| Layout | Style |
|---|---|
| Classic (default) | A balanced, traditional detail page. |
| Agency | A bolder agency style. |
| SaaS | A modern software style. |
| Consulting | A professional consulting style. |
| Minimal | A clean, stripped‑back style. |
What sections a detail page shows
The detail page is built from these sections, in order. Each appears only if you've filled the matching field or enabled the matching toggle.
| Section | Comes from | Shown when |
|---|---|---|
| Hero / Banner | Hero banner → Featured image → Thumbnail | Always (uses the best available image) |
| Breadcrumb | — | Enable breadcrumb is on |
| Overview | Service overview + Main content | These fields are filled |
| Features | Features content | This field is filled |
| Benefits | Key benefits | This field is filled |
| Process | Process content | This field is filled |
| Video | Video URL | This field is filled |
| CTA | Built‑in CTA (links to your service URL) | Enable CTA section is on |
| Related services | Same‑category services (up to 3) | Enable related services is on |
| FAQ | Service overview content | Enable FAQ section is on and process content exists |
| Contact form | Built‑in form | Enable contact form is on |
Note Empty sections are skipped automatically. If you don't fill in "Process content", the Process section simply won't appear.
Overview, Benefits, Process, CTA, FAQ explained
- Overview — the introduction: what the service is and who it's for. (Service overview + Main content.)
- Benefits — why the customer should care. Use bullet points of outcomes.
- Process — how you deliver, step by step.
- CTA — a built‑in call‑to‑action band that links to the service's URL (or your contact page). Turn it on to push visitors to act.
- FAQ — a simple accordion answering common questions about the service.
- Related services — automatically shows other services from the same category (then recent ones) to keep visitors exploring.
Dynamic URL & rendering
- The URL is always
/services/<slug>. - The page is wrapped in your active theme (header, footer, off‑canvas), so it matches the rest of your site.
- SEO meta is generated from the service's SEO fields (or sensible fallbacks): meta title → service name; description → detail short description → short description; OG image → featured image.
Assigning a service to the Page Builder
You don't build a detail page in the Page Builder — uLanding generates it from your service fields. However, to feature services on other pages (like the homepage), add a Service Section block, which links to these detail pages automatically.
Best practices
- Fill every content field you can — richer detail pages convert better and rank higher.
- Use a strong hero banner image for each important service.
- Enable related services to keep visitors on your site.
- Enable the CTA so each detail page has a clear next step.
- Write unique SEO meta for each service.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Fix |
|---|---|
/services/<slug> shows 404 |
Enable detail page, set a slug, publish the service, clear caches. |
| A section is missing | Fill the matching content field or enable the toggle. |
| Related services empty | Assign the service to a category that has other published services. |
| Hero image wrong | Set a hero banner (it falls back to featured image, then thumbnail). |
