Awwwards Section

The Awwwards block highlights awards, recognitions and portfolio achievements — perfect for agencies and creatives who want to show off their credentials.


Purpose

Use it to list awards you've won, or to display a moving portfolio of recognitions. Great for building authority.


Available layouts

4 layouts:

Layout Best for
Reveal List (default) A list of awards that reveal on hover.
Moving Portfolio A scrolling portfolio of images.
Moving Portfolio (Dark) The dark version of the moving portfolio.
Achievement List A simple list of achievements with years.

Field reference

Field What it does
Section title / subtitle / description The section headings.
Header labels (platform, result, award, year) Column headers for the award list.
Left description / right heading Intro text on either side.
Text / background / portfolio background colors Color controls.
Background shape A decorative shape image.
Portfolio images (repeater) Each image with scroll start/stop values for the moving effect.
Reveal award items (repeater) Each: platform, year, result, URL.
Achievement award items (repeater) Each: name, year.
Padding top / bottom Spacing.

Best practices

  • Link awards to their source for credibility.
  • Use real, verifiable awards — visitors and clients may check.
  • Keep the list focused — your most impressive 4–8 items.

Troubleshooting & common mistakes

Problem Fix
Moving portfolio doesn't move Set scroll start/stop values on each image; enable animations.
Links don't work Add a URL to each reveal item.
Colors clash with theme Adjust the text/background color fields.

Common mistakes: listing too many awards, omitting years, forgetting links.
