Legacy Theme Settings

Note Almost everything on this page has moved into the unified Theme Customizer. This chapter exists so you understand older menu links and settings you might encounter. For new sites, use the Theme Customizer.

In earlier versions, theme options were spread across several separate screens: Theme Settings, Off‑Canvas Builder, Topbar Settings and Social Media. These now all open as panels inside the Customizer. The old links automatically redirect:

Old link Now opens
Off‑Canvas Builder Customizer → Off‑Canvas panel
Topbar Settings Customizer → Header panel
Social Media Customizer → Social panel
Theme Settings Customizer

The settings groups (for reference)

If you see a classic Theme Settings form, here's what each tab maps to in the Customizer.

Topbar Settings (legacy standalone)

A separate legacy Topbar page (under Appearance in old versions) offered:

  • Phone, Email
  • Facebook / Instagram / LinkedIn / Twitter URLs
  • Toggles: Enable contact info, Enable language, Enable social info, Enable full top bar

All of this is now better handled in the Customizer's Header and Social panels.

Why the change?

The unified Customizer gives you:

  • A single place for all appearance settings.
  • A live preview so you see changes instantly.
  • Consistent organization across themes.

Tip If you're following an older tutorial that mentions "Off‑Canvas Builder" or "Topbar Settings", just open Themes → Customizer and find the matching panel. Everything is there.
