FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions content)
This page explains how FAQs work in uLanding as content. (For the page‑builder FAQ block's settings, see FAQ Section.)
Important uLanding does not have a separate "FAQ Manager" screen with a global list of questions. Instead, FAQs are created inside the page where they appear, using the FAQ Section block in the Page Builder. Each FAQ block stores its own questions and answers.
Where FAQs come from
There are two places FAQs can appear:
| Place | How to add FAQs |
|---|---|
| Any page (Home, FAQ page, etc.) | Add an FAQ Section block and type the questions into it. |
| A service detail page | Turn on Enable FAQ section in the service's Settings tab. |
Adding FAQs to a page
- Open the page in the Page Builder.
- Add an FAQ Section block.
- Choose a layout (7 are available).
- In the Accordion items repeater, click Add for each question: - Question — the question text. - Answer — the answer (you can add an emphasized line and a sub‑list). - Open by default — whether this item starts expanded.
- (Multi‑Group layout) group questions under headings.
- Save.
Full field details: FAQ Section.
FAQ categories & ordering
- Categories/groups: The Multi‑Group Numbered layout lets you organize questions into named groups (e.g. "Billing", "Getting Started").
- Ordering: Questions appear in the order you add them. Drag rows in the repeater to reorder.
- Default open: Use "Open by default" or the "default open index" to control which question starts expanded.
Building a dedicated FAQ page
- Create a page (e.g. slug
support— notefaqsis a reserved slug). - Enable the Page Builder.
- Add a Banner block (AI Title Breadcrumb) as a header.
- Add one or more FAQ Section blocks, grouped by topic.
- Add a CTA Section at the bottom ("Still have questions? Contact us").
- Publish and add it to your menu.
Note
faqsis a reserved slug. Use something likesupport, helporquestionsfor your FAQ page.
Best practices
- Answer real questions your customers actually ask.
- Group related questions with the Multi‑Group layout.
- Keep answers short and link to detail pages for depth.
- Reduce support load — a good FAQ section answers the questions that would otherwise become tickets.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Fix |
|---|---|
| FAQs not showing | Add an FAQ Section block and fill in accordion items. |
| Service FAQ missing | Enable FAQ section on the service and ensure it has process content. |
| Can't find an FAQ list screen | There isn't one — FAQs live inside FAQ blocks per page. |
