Text Slider Section

The Text Slider is a horizontally scrolling strip of text (a "marquee") — great for keywords, service names or a moving headline that adds energy to a page.

Purpose

Use it as a visual divider between sections, or to repeat key phrases ("Branding • Strategy • Design • Marketing") in an eye‑catching scroll.

Available layouts

5 layouts:

Layout Best for
Tag Pill (default) Pills of text scrolling across.
Headline Dark A large scrolling headline on a dark background.
Headline Light The light‑background version.
Marquee Title A bold marquee title.
Service Strip A strip of service names with separators.

Field reference

Field What it does
Slides (repeater) The text items. Depending on layout: left text, right text, slide text, slide title.
Background color The strip background.
Text color The text color.
Heading font Font for the text.
Letter spacing Space between letters.
Decorative icon fill Color of separator icons.
Slider speed How fast it scrolls (minimum 500).
Slider direction Left‑to‑right or right‑to‑left.
Slider loop Repeat endlessly.
Slider autoplay Auto‑scroll on load.
Padding top / bottom Spacing.

Best practices

  • Short phrases work best — single words or two‑word terms.
  • Moderate speed — too fast is dizzying, too slow is dull.
  • Match colors to the surrounding sections for a seamless look, or contrast deliberately for a divider effect.

Example

  • Layout: Marquee Title
  • Slides: "Strategy", "Design", "Development", "Marketing"
  • Direction: left‑to‑right, autoplay on, loop on.

Frontend result

A continuously scrolling text strip that loops across the screen.

Troubleshooting & common mistakes

Problem Fix
Text doesn't scroll Enable autoplay and loop; set a slider speed.
Scrolls too fast Increase the slider speed value (higher = slower in some setups; adjust to taste).
Text unreadable Increase contrast between text and background colors.

Common mistakes: using long sentences, extreme speeds, low‑contrast colors.
